A Full Circle Moment
I met this family back in October 2019 when they were visiting from the Midwest, looking to relocate to Portland. We had something in common from the beginning–we were part of the same organization, just at different times. Funny enough, it was through the same organization that 21-year-old me decided to pack up and move my life to this city too! I knew that I loved them when we first met, but I loved them even more when they sent me the Oregon border picture in December 2019, the day that they crossed the border into their new home state! They started out in a rental home to give time to become familiar with the new area, and wait for their perfect home to come along. Fast forward to the beginning of 2021 when all of their patience paid off and we finally found it! A gorgeous house with views of Mount St. Helens and Mount Hood, sitting on 0.8 acres with RV parking (gotta have room for the pandemic RV), a huge garage, bonus space upstairs, and plenty of space to roam around, perfect to work from home.
It has been an incredible experience and honor to be on this journey with them, and a true full circle moment.
